"Alia Bhatt Handled Everything When My Dadi Passed Away," Says Riddhima Kapoor

One of the most loved actresses, Alia Bhatt is also every Kapoors favorite girl. She not only shares a great equation with Neetu Kapoor but also with Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhi Kapoor Sahni. The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives fame is in awe of her sister-in-law.

For the uninitiated, the Brahmastra couple started dating somewhere in 2018. They tied the knot in 2022 in an intimate ceremony at the legendary Kapoor home and welcomed their first child, Raha Kapoor, in the same year.

Now, in an interview, Riddhima Kapoor got candid about her equation with Alia Bhatt and recalled how the latter stood with the Kapoor family in their tough times.

Riddhima Kapoor recalls Alia Bhatt's unconditional support

2018 was a testing period for the Kapoor family after Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer and had to be flown down to the USA for treatment. However, it was during this time that they also lost Ranbir-Riddhima's grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor.

Just a day after Neetu Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor left the country for the Chandni actor's treatment, his mother breathed her last in Mumbai. She passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

In a candid chat with Zoom, the FLOBW diva opened up about how Alia stood with her during these challenging times and made arrangements when her family was out of the country.

'I still remember mydadi passed away... My dad left for treatment, and the very next morning, my dadi passed away, and Alia did everything. She came with me she organized the food because at that time you can't cook at home, so she did that," Riddhima Kapoor recalled.

She further added, "She was there. Ranbir, mom, and papa had left for New York, so it was just me. She was with me throughout."

Krishna Raj Kapoor was the wife of late actor-producer Raj Kapoor. She was 87 when she passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Both the siblings were extremely close to their grandmother.

Riddhima Kapoor calls Alia Bhatt an amazing person

In the same interview, the star kid also praised her sister-in-law for being an "amazing and giving person." She shed some light on the Jigra actress's equation with her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, as well.

'She is a great girl. Alia is amazing. Like how she is with my mom also now she is just amazing her whole familymdashher mom, sister, dadmdashthey are all really nice,' Riddhima said.

She continued, "Alia is actually a very warm person and a very giving person, and I say this all the time she is a really nice human being. She does everything wholeheartedly if she wants to do something for you, she will go all out and just make sure it's done.'
